Beth DelBuono is the Current Mayor

Has served 4 terms on the Town Council and was on the Board of Education for 4 terms before that.

Gail Budrejko

Gail Budrejko is currently the Deputy Mayor and is seeking re-election.

(currently serving as Deputy Mayor)

Town Council liaison to Planning and Zoning, Conservation and Wetlands, Open Space, Economic Development and Environmental Quality Commissions

Parish Council Member, Annunciation Parish, Newington

Board of Directors Member, Intensive Education Academy, West Hartford

Active in significant issues facing Newington such as the Plan of Conservation and Development, protecting Cedar Mountain, advocating for open space and supporting responsible, sustainable development.


Michael Camillo

Mike is married to his wife Kelley and has two children, son Riley 21 and daughter Casey 11. They have two dogs Murphy and Bear along with 2 turtles Splish and Splash!

Michael and his wife Kelley run their family owned small business in Newington and have been a staple here since 1963. They both are devoted to the town and have dedicated their life to making it a better place to live and work.


With decades of experience in town government Michael is uniquely skilled to serve the residents of Newington and is excited to be running for re-election in November.

John Donahue

John Donahue is currently a Town Councilor and is seeking re-election

John has been a resident of Newington for 40 years and has been married to his lovely wife Linda for 36.
They have 2 Children - William and Gavin, both of whom are Eagle Scouts.

William is a Graduate of Newington High School, has his BS in Physics from UCONN and his PhD from LSU. He is currently finishing his residency at Yale New Haven.

Gavin Graduated from Newington High School and has his BS from UCONN. Gavin is currently working for me in our MATCO Tools Business.

Some Notable Accomplishments:
Employed as a Certified Level 2 Information Technology (IT) Architect with IBM


Dave Nagel

Dave Nagel is currently a Town Councilor and is seeking re-election.

Dave has been a Newington resident 38 years and has been married to his wife Jerilyn for 38 years as well. Dave received his Bachelor’s Degree English and Education from the University of Connecticut and his Master’s Degree English and Education from Central Connecticut State University!
